Conducted under the guidance of Dr. Swati Mujumdar, Dr. Arjun Vaidya addressed the audience on the topic \u201cReinventing Yourself for India\u2019s Ever-Changing Job Market.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized, \u201cIn the age of social media, it is important to have a digital presence and to keep it updated with relevant information. This creates a digital identity. By staying active on social media, one can open many doors to opportunities. Passion is essential in any work you do\u2014it is this passion that makes the journey smoother. Instead of complaining, one should turn challenges into golden opportunities and build new ventures. The event received an overwhelming response in Bengaluru. It saw participation from SCDL alumni, working professionals, graduates, and employees from various sectors who were interested in redefining their careers. Nikhil Vaidya, Ashish Pandita, and Jay Kolhe were also present.<\/p>\n

On artificial intelligence (AI), he said, \u201cIf you fear AI, you won\u2019t be able to use it. AI can help create strategies, but it cannot implement them\u2014that still requires human involvement. Keep yourself updated with new things. There\u2019s a wealth of learning available. Work in India\u2014there are countless opportunities here. When no one else believes in you, believe in yourself and keep moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking about building great teams, he shared, \u201cThere\u2019s no fixed formula for building a great team. It\u2019s a continuous and evolving process. To thrive within a team, you must align with its cultural foundation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Vaidya also shared his personal journey\u2014how he overcame illness and started a traditional business. He highlighted the struggles of insufficient income despite spending crores on education, the difficulties faced when launching a start-up after getting accustomed to a job, and shared insights from his experience running an e-commerce business.<\/p>\n

After the seminar, an HR Round Table Conference was held, followed by a Dale Carnegie training workshop and an awards ceremony.
