Pune, 10th April 2025<\/strong> \u2013 In a heartwarming initiative that blends social responsibility, skill development, and community service, students from the B.Sc. Beauty and Wellness<\/strong> program at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU)<\/strong> recently visited Mai Bal Bhavan<\/strong>, a non-profit organization for differently abled and orphaned children, located near Dehu.<\/p>\n

During this visit, the students offered free haircut services<\/strong> to the children at the organization, creating a memorable and meaningful experience for both the children and the emerging professionals. The initiative allowed the students to apply their skills in a real-world setting and, at the same time, strengthened their sense of social responsibility and empathy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Sayogita Gaikwad<\/strong> said, “Such initiatives help students understand the importance of community service and skill-based education. These experiences not only help students become better professionals but also compassionate citizens. Such activities are an excellent example of SSPU\u2019s commitment to holistic education<\/strong>, where students are encouraged to contribute to society while developing their skills.
